device — we never collect or store it on our servers.
01: Who we are
Bankside is an independently developed fishing session logging
application. For any privacy-related questions, please get in touch at

02: What data the app uses
Bankside allows you to log fishing sessions and catches. The
information you enter — including venue names, swim or peg details,
species, weights, and photos — is stored entirely on your device. This
data is not transmitted to us or any third party.
The app may request access to the following device features:
Camera and photo library — to allow you to attach
photos to your catches. Photos are stored locally on your device
only.
Device storage — to save and read your session and
catch data.
We do not request access to your location, contacts, microphone, or
any other device feature beyond those listed above.
03: No accounts, no cloud storage
Bankside does not require you to create an account. We do not collect
your name, email address, or any identifying information. Your session
and catch data is never uploaded to our servers or any cloud service.
04: No third-party tracking or analytics
We do not use any third-party analytics, advertising SDKs, or tracking
tools within the app. No data about your usage of Bankside is
collected or shared with any third parties.
05: Data retention and deletion
Because all data is stored locally on your device, you are in full
control of it at all times. To delete your data, you can:
Delete individual catches or sessions within the app.
Uninstall the app, which will remove all locally stored app data
from your device.
We hold no copies of your data and therefore cannot retrieve or delete
it on your behalf.
06: Children's privacy
Bankside is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not
knowingly collect any personal data from children. As the app collects
no personal data from any user, there is no additional risk in this
regard.
07: Changes to this policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will
be reflected with an updated date at the top of this page. We
encourage you to review it periodically.
08: Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights regarding your
personal data under applicable law — for example, under the UK GDPR.
As Bankside does not collect or store any personal data, these rights
are inherently satisfied. There is nothing for us to access, correct,
or delete on your behalf.
